If you like the specific combination of big power and station wagons, does Audi have a treat for you in the RS 6 Avant. Not only does one of Audi’s most potent car models happen to be a handsome wagon, but it’s also the only way to get the RS 6 in Canada. There is no equivalent sedan version of this car, nor can you get the sportiest sedan’s S6 configuration as a wagon.

For 2022, Audi has added a handful of items to the RS 6’s standard features list, which we’ve detailed below.
Available Trims
The Audi RS 6 comes in a single trim powered by a 4.0L turbo V8 with mild hybrid assist, an eight-speed transmission, and AWD.
Standard Features
New to the RS 6 for 2022 are wireless phone charging, and a bunch of driver assist features: adaptive cruise control, active lane departure warning, intersection assistant, traffic jam assist, road sign recognition, turn and exit warning assist, emergency assist, predictive efficient assist, and rear side airbags.
Every RS 6 comes with air suspension, 21-inch wheels, heated/power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors, LED laser headlights with washers, dynamic LED taillights, panoramic sunroof, passive keyless entry, power tailgate,
The cabin sports Valcona leather upholstery, sport front seats with four-way lumbar, four-zone A/C, heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, power door closers, electric steering wheel adjustments, ambient lighting, and a leatherette stitched dash.
The 10.6-inch infotainment screen contains navigation, satellite radio, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo, and you also get a head-up display, digital gauges, Apple CarPlay, and a garage door remote.
The RS 6’s safety suite comprises the new items listed above, along with front and rear collision mitigation, top-view cameras, blind spot warning, automatic high beams, and rear cross traffic alert.
Key Options
New to the RS 6’s options list is a stand-alone dynamic ride control suspension.
The RS 6’s most notable option is a dynamic package that adds a sport differential, and all-wheel dynamic steering. Black optics and carbon optics packages bring 22-inch wheels, and a pair of RS design packs are mostly about cosmetic additions. Ceramic brakes and a night vision assist are also offered as individual stand-alone extras.

The Audi RS 6 Avant’s fuel consumption estimates are 16.1/10.7 L/100 km (city/highway).
Competition
The RS 6 Avant’s sole direct competitor is the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, which comes as the 620-hp Turbo S and the 690-hp Turbo S E-Hybrid. Notably, both are a lot more expensive than the Audi.
